Doumbek heads size requirements vary; please measure your doumbek head's inner diameter carefully. Below are the measurements of this particular Remo Skyndeep doumbek head model (DA-3387-SD-001), followed by videos on how to measure and also how to gently heat your Skyndeep to stretch it down:
Inner Diameter/Width: 8.75" (22.23 cm)
TOTAL Diameter/Width (including metal ring): 9 1/8" (23.18 cm) (to see if it will fit in your counter hoop channel)
Crown Depth: 3/8" (0.953 cm) (only the depth of the Remo Skyndeep doumbek head, not including the ring)
