The newest djembe drum from Remo is lightweight, and has a sleek refined look, due in part to the elegant plated steel radius counterhoop and specially engineered tuning brackets, which boast inverted, recessed tuning hooks that make tuning the drum a breeze.
You will love the tone of the new weather resistant Skyndeep head with Ultratac, a slight texture, lending to the authentic feel and sound of this great new Remo djembe. This innovative Skyndeep drum head has a little Sound Control foam dot underneath the head, which is removable. This results in less overtones for a more focused and dryer animal-like bottom end with rich and clear slap tones.
The Apex Djembe is constructed using a traditional djembe shape and is molded from ABS plastics that is impact resistance, easy to clean, and lightweight.
