This authentic Egyptian doumbek drum, or tabla as it is called in Egypt, is cast from an aluminum alloy. The synthetic head is held down by a hoop containing 6 tuning bolts, allowing for fine tuning and head replacement when desired or necessary. An extra head, tuning tool and basic nylon zippered case are included with the Alexandria doumbek. You can change out the standard clear plastic head with the popular Remo Skyndeep head, found in the Related Products to the right.
