Remo’s Daf drum produces bright tek tones and full bass tones. This amazing Daf features hundreds of chrome metal rings, producing a shimmering authentic Daf sound. Celebrating over 30 years manufacturing Frame drums and Tambourines, Remo introduces and new product line called "Global Frame drums and Tambourines." This Daf is part of this brand new line. Remo draws his inspiration to create the Daf drum from the Classical Sufi music traditions found in Iran, Persia… as well as Master Iranian drummer, Pejman Hadadi. Remo’s Daf drum is constructed with the beautiful Skyndeep graphic drumhead that is pre-tuned on a 21" (53.34 cm) diameter lightweight drumshell. Remo’s Daf drum is a joy to play. The chrome metal Daf rings produce a unique percussive sound when shaken and a buzz or snare like sound when striking or touching the Daf drumhead.
