The Remo Ergo Soloist Doumbek with the Ergo-Drum System uses state-of-the-art technology that once again lifts the bar and ushers a new innovative drum to the world. This fantastic Ergo Soloist doumbek from Remo is great sounding, easy to play, visually stunning, and durable. This standard Internal Tuning model Soloist doumbek's textured finish is a great Metalized® turquoise color. The Remo Ergo Soloist doumbek has the Remo Ergo-Drum System™, allowing for hours of comfortable playing. This Dohola sized Soloist doumbek is fitted with Remo’s Skyndeep® Fish Skin graphic drum head. The Remo Ergo Soloist doumbek drum shell produces warm, pronounced doum/ bass tones, and bright tek tones.
Traditional doumbek shells are made from metal, clay, or fired ceramic. The Remo Ergo Soloist doumbek shell combines the hardness and feel of a ceramic bearing edge with the warmth of a baked clay doumbek shell into one using the Remo Acousticon® drum shell material, which is a consistent tone material, and is durable.
In development for two years, this Remo Ergo Soloist doumbek has a newly designed drum shell, unlike any other in the family of doumbeks. The Soloist has a uniquely beautiful deep Metalized® finish. The Remo Ergo Soloist doumbek with the internal tuning system can be played in all the traditional positions.
The Remo Ergo-Drum System products are constructed under the highest quality control guidelines. Remo Ergo Soloist doumbek counterhoops (rims) are perfectly indexed; matching screws and screw holes, insuring bolts won’t strip after multiple drum head changes. The Soloist bearing edges are evenly rounded and smooth, allowing for maximum tuning range.
