This large frame drum is equipped with the Remo Fiberskyn® 3 head. This warm full-toned synthetic head is pre-tuned on a 0.25 inch thick Remo ACOUSTICON™ shell which will provide years of carefree play. This patented drum shell material will produce the same tonal characteristic found on traditional wood shell drums with excellent projection and enhanced low-pitched fundamentals. The results… the Remo frame drum is lightweight, durable, weather-resistant and easy to play which means you will have countless hours jamming on your new frame drum.
The 22 inch diameter Remo frame drum is the perfect travel companion, for outdoors and inside. You can create a full range of sounds on this precision pre-tuned, quality Remo frame drum. The frame drum is manufactured with Remo's exclusive patented PTS (pre-tuned system) tuning the drum and setting the pitch precisely at the optimum note related to the diameter size. This ensures that your frame drum will produce even, consistent tone. You will be pleasantly surprised at the tones you can achieve on this Remo frame drum. There is a thumb notch for comfort when playing in a standing or upright position. While cross bracing is not necessary, there are four pre-drilled holes if you want to add your own, with cords or nylon straps.
