Developed with the advice of Issam Houshan, Remo has created this new version of their popular Skyndeep doumbek head, designed specifically to better fit the Middle Eastern doumbek, especially the standard sized GeF model. Doumbek heads size requirements vary; please measure your doumbek head's inner diameter carefully. Below are the measurements of this particular Remo Skyndeep doumbek head model, followed by videos on how to measure and also how to gently heat your Skyndeep to stretch it down:
Inner Diameter/Width: 8.625" (21.91 cm)
Crown Depth: 3/8" (0.953 cm) (only the depth of the Remo Skyndeep doumbek head, not including the ring)

Price Value Quality High quality head. Fit just like I planned. Just watched the video on the website and measured it (raquy drum). The sound is great, increasing volume of doums and clear teks.
